EUNORAU FAT-HD 2.0 vs FAT-HD 1.0 Pro: Which Fat Tire E-Bike Fits You?
Share

Both the EUNORAU FAT-HD 2.0 and the FAT-HD 1.0 Pro are built around the same core: a Bafang 1000W mid-drive motor with 160Nm of torque, 26"x4" fat tires, and an aluminum frame rated for 375 lbs. But a $500 price gap separates them, and the differences go beyond just the battery.

Where the FAT-HD 2.0 pulls ahead
The 2.0's biggest advantage is top speed — 28 mph versus the Pro's 20 mph — despite both bikes using the identical Bafang motor. That gap comes down to how each bike's controller is tuned, not raw power. The 2.0 also uses a dual-battery design (two 15Ah packs) rather than one large pack, which some riders prefer for swapping a spent battery mid-ride rather than waiting on a single long charge. Its Bluetooth color display is also a genuine step up in usability over the Pro's basic LCD screen.
Where the FAT-HD 1.0 Pro holds its own

Despite costing $500 less, the 1.0 Pro actually carries more total battery capacity in its single 25Ah pack than either of the 2.0's two 15Ah packs combined (30Ah). If your priority is straightforward range from one battery rather than swappable packs, the Pro delivers strong value. It also has a slightly lower recommended minimum rider height, making it a marginally better fit for shorter riders.
Which one should you buy?
Choose the FAT-HD 2.0 if top speed matters to you, you like the flexibility of a dual removable battery setup, or you want the nicer Bluetooth display.
Choose the FAT-HD 1.0 Pro if you want strong single-battery range at a lower price and don't need to hit highway-adjacent speeds off-road.
Both share the same core motor and torque, so neither compromises on the fundamental off-road capability the FAT-HD line is built around.
