When charging, always connect the battery to the charger first, then plug the charger into the wall. Plugging into the wall first can damage the battery fuse.

How to remove the battery from your bike

1. Lower the seat — there's a small blue bar under the seat; pull it up to straighten the seat post.
2. With your left hand, turn the battery key to unlock while pushing the key in. At the same time, use your right hand to pull the battery out.

Charger light stays green — is my battery faulty?

If the charger's indicator light is green immediately after you start charging (rather than turning green only once charging completes), the battery's fuse has likely burnt out. Replacing the fuse usually resolves this.
