Product Description

The Y16 shares its layout with the COSWHEEL T16 but trades the aluminum frame for a steel one, which keeps the price lower. The 16-inch Chaoyang tires bring the saddle down to a height that suits teenagers and riders who find full-size e-bikes too tall.

Power comes from a 48V brushless hub motor rated at 750W with 1000W peak output and 50Nm of torque. That is enough for a 28 mph top speed and grades up to 25 degrees. The 15Ah lithium battery slides out for charging indoors and covers up to 52 miles, depending on rider weight, terrain and assist level. A full charge takes 3.5 to 8 hours.

At the back, two shock absorbers replace the single shock used on the T16, so the bike rides softer over curbs and broken pavement. Front and rear mechanical disc brakes handle stopping, and the LCD screen shows speed, headlight status and fault codes. The bike weighs 97 lb and carries up to 330 lb.
