The META275 is built for riders who like to pedal. Its torque sensor measures how hard you push and adds motor power in proportion, so the bike feels like a regular bicycle with stronger legs. Electrek praised this kind of setup for making pedal assist feel more natural.

A 48V 500W rear hub motor with 65Nm of torque moves you up to 20 mph. The 48V 13Ah battery recharges in 4 to 6 hours. Range runs from 35 miles on the standard pack to 65 miles with an optional 17Ah second battery.

Large 27.5 x 2.6 inch Chaoyang tires roll over cracks and curbs with ease, and the suspension fork takes the sting out of potholes. A Shimano push-button 9-speed drivetrain covers city hills, and 180mm hydraulic disc brakes cut the motor when you brake. The bike weighs 68.3 lb, fits riders from 5'6" to 6'1" and carries up to 286 lb.
